Apple M5 GPU (10-core)

32 GB LPDDR5X-9600 · 128-bit · 1,280 cores

This is the full 10-core GPU of the Apple M5, introduced in October 2025 in the 14-inch MacBook Pro, iPad Pro and Apple Vision Pro, and used in the MacBook Air from March 2026. It is the first Apple GPU with a Neural Accelerator in every core, which Apple says gives over four times the peak GPU compute for AI of the M4. An 8-core version is used in the base MacBook Air.

Notes
Every GPU core includes a Neural Accelerator for matrix operations, and the GPU supports FP16, BF16 and INT8 compute through Metal. It has third-generation hardware ray tracing; Apple does not publish a dedicated ray-tracing unit count. The 16-core Neural Engine is a separate block in the M5 SoC.
