Apple A19 Pro GPU (6-core)

12 GB LPDDR5X-9600 · 64-bit · 768 cores

The 6-core GPU of the Apple A19 Pro, introduced in the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max in September 2025. Each core includes a Neural Accelerator, and compared with the A18 Pro the GPU has a larger cache and more memory. With the vapor-chamber cooling of the Pro models, Apple quotes up to 40 percent better sustained performance than the previous generation. The iPhone Air uses a version with five GPU cores.

Notes
A Neural Accelerator in every GPU core speeds up the matrix operations used by AI models, and the GPU supports FP16, BF16 and INT8 compute through Metal. Hardware ray tracing is supported; Apple does not publish a separate ray-tracing unit count. The 16-core Neural Engine is a separate block on the SoC.
