Apple A16 Bionic

6C/6T · 3.5 GHz

The Apple A16 Bionic debuted with the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, which went on sale on September 16, 2022, and was Apple's first chip built on a 4 nm-class process. It moved the iPhone to LPDDR5 memory with 50 percent more bandwidth than the A15 and has 16 billion transistors. A year later it was carried over to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. A binned version with a 5-core CPU and 4-core GPU, sold simply as the A16, powers the iPad (11th generation) and is listed separately.
