AMD Ryzen Embedded 9 7900

12C/24T · 5.4 GHz · 65 W

Twelve-core, 65 W member of the Ryzen Embedded 7000 Series, added to the AM5 embedded line after its November 2023 launch. It matches the clocks and 64 MB L3 cache of the Ryzen Embedded 7945 without the AMD PRO feature set, offering a lower-cost option for industrial PCs, machine vision and edge servers. Like the rest of the series it supports ECC DDR5 memory, 28 lanes of PCIe 5.0 and up to four displays from its integrated RDNA 2 graphics.

Notes
AMD lists Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows Server 2022 and Ubuntu Linux for the Ryzen Embedded 7000 Series. Microsoft's Windows 11 25H2 supported-processor list includes the Ryzen 7000 Series, which uses the same Raphael silicon, and 24H2, 25H2 and 26H2 share the same hardware requirements. Mainline Linux supports Zen 4, so distributions such as Fedora and Arch Linux also run on it.
