AMD Ryzen AI Embedded X168

8C/16T · 5.0 GHz · 55 W

Eight-core entry model of the Ryzen AI Embedded X100 Series, AMD's embedded version of its Strix Halo design for robotics, humanoids, medical imaging and other physical AI systems. Its 32-CU RDNA 3.5 GPU, 50 TOPS XDNA 2 NPU and Zen 5 cores share up to 128 GB of unified LPDDR5X memory, letting large AI models run locally, and AMD supports the GPU through ROCm. Announced at Advancing AI 2026 on July 23, 2026 after customer sampling began in June, it was slated for production in Q4 2026 with availability until 2037. This commercial version is rated for a 0 to 105 °C junction range.

Notes
AMD supports the X100 Series with an open Linux software stack including a real-time kernel, the Xen hypervisor, ROS 2 and ROCm, and uses Ubuntu 24.04 in its test configurations. The Ryzen AI Embedded X100 Series does not appear on Microsoft's Windows 11 24H2 or 25H2 supported-processor lists, and AMD publishes no Windows 10 support for it.
