AMD Ryzen AI Embedded X199

16C/32T · 5.1 GHz · 55 W

The AMD Ryzen AI Embedded X199 is the flagship processor in AMD's Ryzen AI Embedded X100 series, a Strix Halo-derived embedded platform built for robotics and physical AI applications. It pairs 16 Zen 5 CPU cores (32 threads) with a 40-compute-unit RDNA 3.5 integrated GPU and an AMD XDNA 2 neural processing unit rated at up to 50 TOPS, all fabricated on a TSMC 4 nm process. The chip supports LPDDR5X-8533 memory across an 8-channel controller for up to 128 GB of unified memory, and runs within a configurable 45-120 W thermal envelope. Announced at AMD's Advancing AI 2026 event on July 23, 2026, it ships as part of AMD's 10-year embedded availability program for industrial and robotics customers.
