AMD EPYC Embedded 8C24P

12C/24T · 3.0 GHz · 100 W

Embedded-only 12-core model of AMD's EPYC Embedded 8004 Series, based on the Zen 4c Siena design for the single-socket SP6 platform. Its core count is not offered in the server EPYC 8004 lineup, sitting between the 8-core 8024P and the 16-core 8124P, and its 100 W default TDP can be lowered to 70 W. It keeps the platform's six DDR5-4800 channels and 96 PCIe 5.0 lanes with CXL 1.1+ support, and AMD plans availability of up to seven years for the embedded series.

Notes
Microsoft lists the EPYC 8004 Series among the supported processors for Windows 11 25H2. The embedded-only 8C24P is not named on the model-by-model 24H2 list, but 24H2, 25H2 and 26H2 share the same hardware requirements. It also meets the Windows 10 requirements, and mainline Linux supports Zen 4c, so mainstream distributions such as Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch run on it.
