The MediaTek Helio P90 was announced in December 2018 as an AI-focused premium mid-range chip, with phones following in 2019. Its APU 2.0 delivers 1,127 GMAC/s (2.25 TOPS), which MediaTek rated four times faster than the AI unit of the Helio P60 and P70. It combines two Arm Cortex-A75 cores at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz with a PowerVR GM9446 GPU, and its triple ISPs support a single 48 MP camera or 24 MP + 16 MP dual cameras and 480 fps slow motion. It integrates an LTE Cat-12/Cat-13 modem with 4x4 MIMO and dual 4G VoLTE.
