Apple M3 Max

16C/16T · 4.0 GHz

The M3 Max is the high-end chip of Apple's 3 nm M3 generation, announced in October 2023 for the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro. With 92 billion transistors, it offers twice as many performance cores as the M3 Pro and a GPU of up to 40 cores with Dynamic Caching and hardware ray tracing. It came in two versions: 14 CPU cores (10 performance and 4 efficiency) with a 30-core GPU and 300 GB/s of memory bandwidth, or 16 CPU cores with a 40-core GPU and 400 GB/s.
