Apple A9X

2C/2T · 2.3 GHz

Apple A9X is the tablet version of the A9, introduced with the original 12.9-inch iPad Pro in November 2015 and later used in the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. It is built by TSMC on a 16 nm FinFET process with more than 3 billion transistors and, unlike the A9, has no L3 cache. The CPU runs at up to 2.26 GHz in the 12.9-inch model and 2.16 GHz in the 9.7-inch model, and its 128-bit LPDDR4 interface delivers 51.2 GB/s to 4 GB of RAM (2 GB in the 9.7-inch model).
