Apple A16

5C/5T · 3.5 GHz

The Apple A16 is the chip in the iPad (A16), the 11th-generation entry-level iPad announced on 4 March 2025 and released on 12 March 2025. It is a binned version of the A16 Bionic first used in the iPhone 14 Pro, with a 5-core CPU (two Everest performance cores and three Sawtooth efficiency cores), a 4-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine, and the iPad pairs it with 6 GB of LPDDR5 memory. Apple markets it simply as A16, and the iPad (A16) does not support Apple Intelligence.
