Apple A6X

2C/2T · 1.4 GHz

The Apple A6X is the tablet version of the A6, introduced on October 23, 2012 exclusively for the fourth-generation iPad. It pairs two Swift cores at up to 1.4 GHz and 1 MB of L2 cache with a quad-core PowerVR SGX554MP4 GPU and a quad-channel LPDDR2 memory interface, doubling the graphics performance of the A5X to drive the Retina display. Built on Samsung's 32 nm process, it has a 123 mm2 die under a metal heat spreader.
