Apple M3 Max GPU (40-core)

128 GB LPDDR5-6400 · 512-bit · 5,120 cores

This is the full 40-core GPU of the Apple M3 Max, released in the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro in November 2023 on TSMC's 3 nm process. It introduced Dynamic Caching and hardware-accelerated ray tracing and mesh shading to Apple's high-end chips, with 400 GB/s of memory bandwidth. A 30-core version with a 384-bit interface and 300 GB/s was also offered.
