Apple M3 GPU (10-core)

24 GB LPDDR5-6400 · 128-bit · 1,280 cores

The GPU of the Apple M3 SoC, first shipped in the MacBook Pro 14 and iMac 24 in November 2023 and later in the MacBook Air. It introduced Dynamic Caching, which allocates on-chip memory in hardware in real time, together with the first hardware-accelerated ray tracing and mesh shading on a Mac. Apple also offers an 8-core configuration.

Notes
Metal exposes FP16, INT8 and bfloat (BF16) types on the Apple9 GPU family. The 16-core Neural Engine (about 18 TOPS) is a separate SoC block. Apple does not publish GPU clocks or ALU counts; the shader count assumes 128 ALUs per GPU core.
