AMD Instinct MI250
128 GB HBM2e · 8192-bit · 13,312 cores
32 GB HBM2 · 4096-bit · 3,840 cores
The Radeon Instinct MI50 is a 7 nm Vega 20 data center accelerator for machine learning and mixed-precision HPC. Sixty compute units and 3,840 stream processors deliver 26.5 TFLOPS of half precision, 13.3 TFLOPS of single precision and 6.6 TFLOPS of double precision, the last at a full 1:2 rate that made the card unusually strong for scientific work in its class. Rapid Packed Math plus INT8 and INT4 dot-product instructions accelerate inference. This 32 GB configuration doubles the frame buffer of the 16 GB model over the same 4,096-bit HBM2 interface and 1 TB/s of bandwidth. The MI50 was among the first accelerators to ship with PCI Express 4.0, and the passively cooled full-height double-slot card draws 300 W.
Datacenter gpus from AMD announced around the same time as the AMD Radeon Instinct MI50 32GB. Add any of them to your compare list to see the specs side by side.
