Intel Xeon E7-8893 v3

4C/8T · 3.5 GHz · 140 W

The Xeon E7-8893 v3 is the frequency-optimized quad-core model in Intel's Xeon E7-8800 v3 family, launched in May 2015 for eight-socket mission-critical servers. It pairs just four cores and eight threads, running at 3.2 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.5 GHz, with the full 45 MB of L3 cache in a 140 W TDP, giving each core an unusually large share of cache for per-core-licensed databases and latency-sensitive workloads.

Notes
Haswell-based Xeon E7 v3 processors are not on Microsoft's supported-processor lists for Windows 11 24H2, 25H2 or 26H2. Windows 10 runs on them, and Haswell is covered by mainline Linux kernels, so current Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch releases run without extra patches. ChromeOS is not offered for this platform.
