Intel Xeon E3-1285 v4

4C/8T · 3.8 GHz · 95 W

The Xeon E3-1285 v4 is the fastest model of Intel's Broadwell-based Xeon E3-1200 v4 family, launched in June 2015, a socketed quad-core, eight-thread chip with a 3.5 GHz base clock and a 95 W TDP. It is aimed at workstations and media servers that need strong integrated graphics. Its Iris Pro Graphics P6300 is backed by 128 MB of on-package eDRAM that also acts as a fourth-level cache for the processor cores.

Notes
Broadwell-based Xeon E3 v4 processors are not on Microsoft's supported-processor lists for Windows 11 24H2, 25H2 or 26H2. Windows 10 runs on them, and Broadwell is covered by mainline Linux kernels, so current Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch releases run without extra patches. ChromeOS is not offered for this platform.
