Intel Xeon E3-1258L v4

4C/8T · 3.2 GHz · 47 W

The Xeon E3-1258L v4 is a low-power quad-core, eight-thread BGA processor from Intel's Broadwell-based Xeon E3-1200 v4 family, launched in June 2015, intended for embedded systems and compact servers. Unlike most E3 v4 models it uses HD Graphics P5700 rather than Iris Pro graphics, so it has no eDRAM. It launched at $481, and Intel later listed a lower recommended price.

Notes
Broadwell-based Xeon E3 v4 processors are not on Microsoft's supported-processor lists for Windows 11 24H2, 25H2 or 26H2. Windows 10 runs on them, and Broadwell is covered by mainline Linux kernels, so current Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch releases run without extra patches. ChromeOS is not offered for this platform.
