2C/4T · 15 W

The Intel Pentium 3825U is a 2015 update of the Pentium 3805U from Intel's 14 nm Broadwell U-series. It adds Hyper-Threading, making it the only four-thread chip among the Broadwell U-series Pentium and Celeron models, along with a faster graphics clock. Turbo Boost, AVX and AES-NI remain reserved for the Core models.

Notes
Shipped with Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 in budget laptops. It is not on Microsoft's Windows 11 supported-processor lists for 24H2 or 25H2, and 26H2 keeps the same requirements, so Windows 10 is the newest supported Windows release. It lacks AVX and therefore does not meet the x86-64-v3 level, but mainstream Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch still target baseline x86-64 and run on it.
