Intel Celeron 3215U

2C/2T · 15 W

The Intel Celeron 3215U is the mid-2015 update of the Celeron 3205U, an entry-level dual-core from Intel's 14 nm Broadwell family, with higher CPU and graphics clocks. Like the other Broadwell Celerons it lacks Hyper-Threading, Turbo Boost, AVX and AES-NI. It was widely used in Chromebooks such as the Toshiba Chromebook 2 (2015) and later versions of the Acer C740, as well as in budget Windows laptops.

Notes
Shipped with Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 in budget laptops and with ChromeOS in Chromebooks. It is not on Microsoft's Windows 11 supported-processor lists for 24H2 or 25H2, and 26H2 keeps the same requirements, so Windows 10 is the newest supported Windows release. It lacks AVX and therefore does not meet the x86-64-v3 level, but mainstream Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch still target baseline x86-64 and run on it.
