Apple M1 Max

10C/10T · 3.2 GHz

The M1 Max is the largest single-die chip of Apple's first-generation Mac silicon, announced in October 2021 alongside the M1 Pro for the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro and later used in the Mac Studio. It shares the M1 Pro's CPU but doubles the GPU and memory interface, and adds a second ProRes engine for video work. With 57 billion transistors it was Apple's largest chip at launch, and it was offered with a 24-core or 32-core GPU.
