AMD Ryzen 7 1800X

8C/16T · 4.0 GHz · 95 W

The Ryzen 7 1800X was AMD's flagship desktop processor at the March 2017 launch of the original Zen architecture, bringing 8 cores and 16 threads to the mainstream AM4 platform for the first time. It runs at a 3.6 GHz base clock with boost frequencies up to 4.0 GHz (extended further by XFR on capable coolers), backed by 4 MB of L2 and 16 MB of L3 cache, all within a 95 W TDP. Fully unlocked for overclocking, it marked AMD's return to high-end desktop competitiveness after years of the Bulldozer-derived lineup.
