NVIDIA GeForce MX230

4 GB GDDR5 · 64-bit · 256 cores

Entry-level Pascal laptop GPU introduced in February 2019 together with the GeForce MX250, succeeding the Maxwell-based MX130 and MX110. It uses a cut-down GP108 chip and, like other GeForce MX parts, lacks the NVENC hardware video encoder. It was aimed at thin, inexpensive notebooks that needed a modest step up from integrated graphics.
