AMD FirePro S7100X

8 GB GDDR5 · 256-bit · 2,048 cores

The AMD FirePro S7100X is a passively cooled MXM 3.1 module built on GCN 3 (Amethyst XT) silicon, introduced in May 2016 for blade servers such as the HPE ProLiant WS460c Gen9. It brought AMD's hardware-based Multiuser GPU (MxGPU) virtualization to blade form factors, letting its 32 compute units and 8 GB of ECC-capable GDDR5 memory be shared via SR-IOV by up to 16 users. It is aimed at virtual desktop and remote workstation deployments within a 100 W power envelope.
