Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series

8C/8T · 4.6 GHz

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series (SM8850-1-AB) is a cut-down version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 that Qualcomm listed in August 2026, aimed at lower-priced performance phones such as the Redmi K100 Pro. It keeps the full chip's CPU clocks, with two prime Oryon cores at up to 4.6 GHz and six performance cores at up to 3.62 GHz, but its Adreno 840 GPU uses two slices at 1.2 GHz with 12 MB of Adreno High Performance Memory instead of 18 MB. The Hexagon NPU, X85 5G modem, FastConnect 7900 with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0, and LPDDR5X support are unchanged.
