Qualcomm QCM4490

8C/8T · 2.4 GHz

Cellular version of the QCS4490, adding a 3GPP Release 16 5G sub-6 GHz modem. Announced at Hannover Messe in April 2023, it targets industrial handhelds, rugged computing devices, retail and point-of-sale terminals, and security panels. Its octa-core Kryo CPU with two 2.4 GHz performance cores and six 2.0 GHz efficiency cores is paired with Adreno 613 graphics, Wi-Fi 6E with speeds up to 3.6 Gbps, and 1080p60 video. Planned support for Android 13 through 18 lets designs stay in production through 2030.
