The MediaTek Dimensity 8450 is a premium 5G smartphone chip that debuted in May 2025 in the OPPO Reno14 Pro. A refinement of the Dimensity 8400, it uses an all-big-core design of eight Arm Cortex-A725 cores up to 3.25 GHz with 6 MB of L3 cache, a seven-core Arm Mali-G720 GPU and quad-channel LPDDR5X-8533 memory on TSMC's 4 nm N4P process. MediaTek pitches it at content creators, with a dual EIS engine for 4K60 HDR video and the MediaTek NPU 880 for generative AI.
