Intel Xeon 636

12C/24T · 4.7 GHz · 170 W

The Xeon 636 is a 12-core, 24-thread processor from Intel's Xeon 600 workstation lineup (Granite Rapids-WS), launched on February 2, 2026. It has the same core count and cache as the Xeon 634 but runs with a much higher 3.5 GHz base clock and a higher power budget, favoring lightly threaded CAD and design applications. Like the other lower-tier models it offers four DDR5 memory channels and 80 PCIe 5.0 lanes on the W890 platform.
