Intel Core Duo T2250

2C/2T · 31 W

The Intel Core Duo T2250 is a dual-core Yonah notebook processor that appeared in May 2006 as an OEM-only, lower-cost option using a 533 MT/s front-side bus. Its two cores run at 1.73 GHz and share 2 MB of L2 cache, with a 31 W TDP in the Socket M package. Unlike most Core Duo models it does not support Intel VT-x. As a 65 nm Yonah design without Intel 64, it is limited to 32-bit operating systems.

Notes
Yonah has no Intel 64 support, so only 32-bit operating systems can be installed. Windows 10 (32-bit) is the newest Windows release that will run; Windows 11 requires a 64-bit processor. Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch Linux have all dropped 32-bit x86 installation media, so current releases of those distributions cannot be installed.
