Intel Core 2 Duo SL9380

2C/2T · 17 W

The Intel Core 2 Duo SL9380 is a low-voltage, small-form-factor notebook processor from Intel's 45 nm "Penryn" generation, introduced in September 2008 in a soldered BGA956 package. It is the odd member of the 17 W SL series in that it runs on an 800 MT/s front-side bus rather than the 1066 MT/s bus used by the SL9300, SL9400 and SL9600, while keeping the full 6 MB L2 cache.

Notes
Not supported by Windows 11: version 24H2 and later require the POPCNT and SSE4.2 instructions, which Penryn (SSE4.1) does not have. Windows 10 runs, as do Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch Linux, which still target the baseline x86-64 (v1) ISA. Not a supported ChromeOS Flex platform.
