Intel Core i9-11900F

8C/16T · 5.2 GHz · 65 W

The Core i9-11900F is the 65 W, locked version of Intel's 11th Gen Rocket Lake-S flagship, which went on sale on March 30, 2021. It keeps the eight Cypress Cove cores, AVX-512 and PCIe 4.0 of the Core i9-11900K and still reaches 5.2 GHz with Thermal Velocity Boost, but has a lower 2.5 GHz base clock and no integrated graphics, so it must be paired with a discrete graphics card.

Notes
Microsoft lists 11th Gen Intel Core processors as supported for Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2, and Windows 10 is supported as well. Microsoft has not published a separate processor list for Windows 11 26H2, so the 25H2 status is carried over. Mainstream Linux distributions and ChromeOS Flex are supported. A discrete graphics card is required because the processor has no integrated graphics.
