Intel Core i7-4800MQ

4C/8T · 3.7 GHz · 47 W

A quad-core Haswell processor for performance notebooks, using the socketed FCPGA946 package that let system builders and upgraders swap the chip. It was one of the mainstream parts of the first Haswell mobile wave, pairing four Hyper-Threaded cores with Intel HD Graphics 4600.

Notes
Windows 10 runs on these processors, but Windows 11 requires 8th Gen Intel Core or newer, so 24H2, 25H2 and 26H2 are unsupported. Haswell implements SSE4.2 and AVX2 and therefore meets the x86-64-v3 baseline that current Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch builds assume. Machines of this era are supported by ChromeOS Flex.
