Intel Core i7-3770K

4C/8T · 3.9 GHz · 77 W

The Core i7-3770K is the unlocked enthusiast flagship of Intel's 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge desktop lineup for the LGA 1155 platform, launched in April 2012 as one of the first processors built on Intel's 22 nm tri-gate transistors. Its four Hyper-Threaded cores run at 3.5 GHz with Turbo Boost to 3.9 GHz, backed by 8 MB of cache and Intel HD Graphics 4000 within a 77 W TDP. The unlocked multiplier made it a popular overclocking chip, although unlike the locked Core i7-3770 it lacks VT-d and vPro.

Notes
Windows 11 requires 8th Gen Intel Core or newer, so this processor is not on Microsoft's supported lists for 24H2, 25H2 or 26H2; Windows 10 is supported. Mainstream Linux distributions run on it, although builds that require the x86-64-v3 (AVX2) baseline do not, and ChromeOS Flex installs on generic x86-64 hardware.
