Intel Core i3-3245

2C/4T · 55 W

The Core i3-3245 is a dual-core, four-thread Ivy Bridge desktop processor that Intel added in June 2013, late in the 3rd Gen Core cycle. It runs at the same fixed 3.4 GHz as the Core i3-3240 but replaces that model's HD Graphics 2500 with the faster HD Graphics 4000. Like other Ivy Bridge Core i3 models it has no Turbo Boost and its PCIe lanes run at PCIe 2.0 speed.

Notes
Not on Microsoft's Windows 11 supported-processor lists, which start at 8th Gen Intel Core, so Windows 10 is the newest supported Windows release. Mainstream Linux distributions run on it, but it lacks AVX2, so it does not meet the x86-64-v3 baseline required by some newer distributions such as RHEL 10.
