AMD Ryzen Embedded 5800E

8C/16T · 3.7 GHz · 65 W

Eight-core model of the Ryzen Embedded 5000 Series, AMD's socketed AM4 line introduced in April 2023 for networking equipment such as next-generation firewalls, network-attached storage and security appliances. It is the only model in the series with a configurable TDP, running at a default 100 W or turned down to 65 W to fit the cooling of compact rackmount systems. Like the rest of the series it supports ECC memory, offers 24 PCIe 4.0 lanes that expand to 36 with the X570 chipset, and has five years of planned manufacturing availability.

Notes
AMD lists Red Hat Enterprise Linux and the Yocto Project for the Ryzen Embedded 5000 Series. The series does not appear on Microsoft's Windows 11 24H2 or 25H2 supported-processor lists, and AMD publishes no Windows 10 support for these embedded parts.
