The AMD Ryzen 7 165 is a six-core, twelve-thread laptop processor that AMD added to its Ryzen 100 Series in June 2026 for thin-and-light notebooks. It is based on the Zen 4 Hawk Point design, with cores running at 3.3 GHz base and up to 4.7 GHz, 16 MB of L3 cache, eight-CU Radeon 760M graphics and an XDNA NPU rated at up to 16 TOPS, built on TSMC's 4 nm process. Its default TDP is 28 W, configurable from 15 to 30 W.

Microsoft's Windows 11 24H2 supported-processor list predates the Ryzen 100 Series and does not name it, while the 25H2 list names the Ryzen 100 Series; 26H2 keeps the same hardware requirements. AMD also lists Windows 10, RHEL and Ubuntu support, and Fedora and Arch run on Zen 4 without restriction.
