NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 (Notebook)

8 GB GDDR5 · 256-bit · 2,048 cores

Notebook version of the desktop GeForce GTX 980, announced by NVIDIA in September 2015 for flagship gaming laptops. Instead of the cut-down GTX 980M, it uses the fully enabled GM204 chip with 2,048 CUDA cores and 7 Gbps GDDR5 on a 256-bit bus (224 GB/s), running at desktop-class clocks within a configurable 150-165 W power envelope. It supports overclocking and G-Sync, and launched in large desktop-replacement systems from MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte Aorus and Clevo.
