Intel HD Graphics 620

32 GB Shared system memory · 192 cores

Intel HD Graphics 620 is the Gen9.5 GT2 integrated graphics engine in Intel's 7th Gen Core U-series Kaby Lake processors, from the Core i3-7100U and i5-7200U up to the i5-7300U, i7-7500U and i7-7600U; maximum clocks range from 1000 MHz to 1150 MHz depending on the processor. Its main advance over the Skylake generation was a reworked media block with fixed-function HEVC Main10 and VP9 decode, which made smooth 4K video playback practical in fanless ultrabooks. It drives up to three displays, including 4K at 60 Hz over DisplayPort, and suits desktop work and light gaming. The 8th Gen U-series successors use the renamed UHD Graphics 620.

Notes
No dedicated AI accelerator. Gen9.5 predates Intel matrix engines, so inference runs on the execution units via OpenCL or oneAPI.
