AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT

256-bit · 3,840 cores

A 1440p-class RDNA 3 card launched in September 2023. Its chiplet-based Navi 32 design combines a 5 nm graphics die with four 6 nm memory cache dies that provide 64 MB of Infinity Cache, and it supports DisplayPort 2.1, hardware AV1 encoding and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution.

Notes
RDNA 3 WMMA matrix instructions accelerate FP16, BF16, INT8 and INT4. AMD rates the card at 74.6 TFLOPS of FP16 matrix throughput and 74.6 TOPS of INT8, doubling to 149 TOPS at INT4; non-matrix FP16 runs at 37.3 TFLOPS. FP8 has no hardware path on RDNA 3, and FP64 runs at one sixty-fourth of the FP32 rate.
