AMD Radeon Pro SSG (Vega)

16 GB HBM2 · 2048-bit · 4,096 cores

The Radeon Pro SSG (Vega) is a workstation graphics card announced by AMD at SIGGRAPH 2017 and available from August 2017 at $6,999. It succeeded the Fiji-based Radeon Pro SSG developer kit, pairing a full Vega 10 GPU and 16 GB of HBM2 with 2 TB of on-board NVMe flash that the GPU can use as an extension of its frame buffer. It targets workloads with very large datasets, such as 8K video editing, VR content creation and large-scale visualization.
