AMD Radeon Pro 460

4 GB GDDR5 · 128-bit · 1,024 cores

The Radeon Pro 460 was the fastest of the three Polaris GPUs AMD built for Apple's 15-inch MacBook Pro, announced on 27 October 2016. It is the only member of the Radeon Pro 400 series with all sixteen compute units of the Polaris 11 die enabled, pairs them with 4 GB of GDDR5 in place of the 2 GB fitted to the Pro 450 and 455, and is rated by AMD at 1.86 TFLOPS. It was offered as a build-to-order upgrade for the 2016 15-inch MacBook Pro.

Notes
Polaris has no matrix or AI accelerator. FP16 is supported as a storage and arithmetic type but runs at the same rate as FP32, and there is no packed-math speed-up, no BF16, no TF32 and no dot-product instruction for INT8 or INT4. Double precision runs at 1/16 of the FP32 rate.
