Zhaoxin KH-40000/16

The KaiSheng KH-40000/16 is the 16-core model of Zhaoxin's KH-40000 server processor series, announced in November 2022 alongside the 12- and 32-core versions. It has 32 MB of L3 cache, half that of the 32-core flagship. It uses Zhaoxin's in-house Yongfeng core microarchitecture and the ZPI 3.0 interconnect, which enables dual-socket systems. The series supports DDR4 RDIMM, UDIMM and 3DS RDIMM memory, PCIe 3.0, server-class RAS features, secure boot and hardware acceleration for the Chinese SM2, SM3 and SM4 cryptographic algorithms, and targets cloud computing, databases, storage and hyperconverged systems.
