Rockchip RK1820

AI co-processor for running large language and vision-language models, announced at the Rockchip Developer Conference in July 2025 as part of the RK182X series. It combines a multi-core RISC-V CPU and an NPU supporting precisions from INT4 to FP16 and BF16 with 2.5 GB of high-bandwidth DRAM in the package, enough for models of around 3 billion parameters. It connects to a host processor such as the RK3576 or RK3588 over PCIe 2.0 or USB 3.0. The larger RK1828 doubles the memory to 5 GB for 7B-class models.
