The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 (SM7450) was announced on May 20, 2022 as the first processor in Qualcomm's renamed Snapdragon 7 series, aimed at gaming-focused mid-range phones. It is built on a 4 nm process with a Cortex-A710 prime core at up to 2.4 GHz, three more Cortex-A710 cores and four Cortex-A510 cores, and an Adreno 644 GPU with the Adreno Frame Motion Engine. It integrates the Snapdragon X62 5G modem with downloads up to 4.4 Gbps, triple 14-bit ISPs for photos up to 200 MP, FastConnect 6700 with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, and Quick Charge 4+. A later Accelerated Edition raises the prime core to 2.5 GHz.
