MediaTek Helio G99

The MediaTek Helio G99 is a gaming smartphone chip announced on May 23, 2022, and the first Helio G chip built on TSMC's 6 nm-class N6 process, improving power efficiency over the 12 nm Helio G96. It pairs two Arm Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2 GHz with six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, and supports 120 Hz Full HD+ displays, 108 MP main cameras, UFS 2.2 storage and a dual 4G VoLTE LTE Cat.13 modem with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2. Tablet versions are sold as the MT8781, and it became a common choice for budget phones and Android tablets.
