Intel Xeon Silver 4416+

20C/40T · 3.9 GHz · 165 W

The Xeon Silver 4416+ is a 20-core member of Intel's 4th Gen Xeon Scalable (Sapphire Rapids) family, launched in January 2023 for mainstream dual-socket servers. The plus suffix indicates that one each of the QuickAssist, Dynamic Load Balancer, Data Streaming and In-Memory Analytics accelerators is enabled by default, which most other Silver models lack.

Notes
Microsoft lists 4th Generation Xeon Scalable processors as supported for Windows 11 versions 24H2 and 25H2; Microsoft has not published a separate list for 26H2, so the 25H2 status is carried over. The Windows 10 22H2 list stops at 3rd Generation Xeon Scalable. Server deployments typically run Windows Server or enterprise Linux; Sapphire Rapids is supported by mainstream Linux distributions.
