The Xeon Platinum 8468V is a 48-core 4th Gen Xeon Scalable (Sapphire Rapids) processor from Intel's V-series, which is optimized for cloud software-as-a-service and high-density virtual machine hosting. Unlike the single-socket 8461V it supports two-socket servers over three UPI links, and its Speed Select performance profiles keep all 48 cores active while lowering power from 330 W to 300 W or 270 W. One QuickAssist, Dynamic Load Balancer, Data Streaming and In-Memory Analytics accelerator device is enabled by default.
