The Intel Xeon Platinum 8353H is an 18-core, 36-thread server processor from the 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable family, codenamed Cooper Lake and manufactured on the Intel 14 nm process. It runs at a 2.50 GHz base frequency and up to 3.80 GHz Turbo Boost within a 150 W thermal envelope, and carries 18 MB of L2 cache alongside 24.75 MB of shared last-level cache. As an H-series part it scales gluelessly to eight sockets over six UPI links, which aims it at large four- and eight-socket in-memory database and enterprise consolidation platforms. Six memory channels take DDR4-3200 registered DIMMs up to 1.12 TB per socket with ECC, and Intel Optane persistent memory is supported. The processor offers 48 lanes of PCI Express 3.0 on the FCLGA4189 socket, and its dual AVX-512 FMA units with Intel Deep Learning Boost add bfloat16 acceleration for inference workloads.
