Intel Xeon E7-8893 v4

4C/8T · 3.5 GHz · 140 W

The Xeon E7-8893 v4 is the quad-core, highest-base-clock model in Intel's Xeon E7-8800 v4 family, launched in June 2016 for eight-socket mission-critical servers. Its eight threads run at 3.2 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.5 GHz alongside the full 60 MB of L3 cache in a 140 W TDP, giving each core 15 MB of cache for per-core-licensed software and latency-sensitive workloads.

Notes
Broadwell-based Xeon E7 v4 processors are not on Microsoft's supported-processor lists for Windows 11 24H2, 25H2 or 26H2. Windows 10 runs on them, and Broadwell is covered by mainline Linux kernels, so current Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch releases run without extra patches. ChromeOS is not offered for this platform.
