Intel Xeon E5-2603 v4

6C/6T · 85 W

The Xeon E5-2603 v4 is the entry model of Intel's Xeon E5-2600 v4 family for dual-socket servers, launched in the first quarter of 2016. Its six cores run at a fixed 1.7 GHz without Hyper-Threading or Turbo Boost, with 15 MB of L3 cache in an 85 W TDP, making it a low-cost way to build a two-processor system with full memory and PCIe capacity.

Notes
Broadwell-based Xeon E5 v4 processors are not on Microsoft's supported-processor lists for Windows 11 24H2, 25H2 or 26H2. Windows 10 runs on them, and the platform is covered by mainline Linux kernels, so current Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch releases run without extra patches. ChromeOS is not offered for this platform.
